Hello, I am Muirén Ní Sídach, Daughter of Faerie, Daughter of Peace.
My modest urban studio apartment is in a 55+ apartment building for seniors, where any loud and unusual noises or peculiar smells negatively affect my neighbors peace of mind and health.

To address a lack of access to a welcoming public space for a Black trans female creative of my age (68), I’ve started fabricating an apartment-scale, hacker/maker space with a robust FlexiSpot E7Q four leg worktable inside a customized 120” width × 60” depth × 80” height ― VIVOSUN grow tent encapsulated by a layer of 1-lb MLV (mass loaded vinyl) soundproofing.

This large tent is for safe use of large format UV stereolithography (SLA) and filament deposition (FDM) 3D printers with filament storage, with a second, smaller environmental control tent to isolate and contain post processing.

Additive manufacturing places distinctly different demands than growing plants, requiring considerable research and design of custom high-capacity air filtration of recirculating interior air quality, humidity, and temperature as well as exterior exhaust air quality control.

To avoid my rent being raised and ending up homeless, I’m looking for a trust relationship, a fiscal sponsor to facilitate escrow of crowdsourced funding for my creative space equipment and material.
